Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA’s)
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA’s) allow you to pay for eligible health and dependent care expenses using tax-free dollars. There are two types of FSA’S: Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA.

Health Plans
The City’s health plans are Aetna Aexcel Choice POS II and Aetna Whole Health Seton Alliance.
Leave
The City offers employees leave time including paid holidays, vacation leave, sick leave and emergency leave. Additionally, Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) and the Catastrophic Leave Pool are available to employees.

Pet Insurance
Pet Insurance is a voluntary benefit and is administered by Petplan. If you enroll with pet insurance, you will be billed directly by Petplan, since there is no payroll deduction for this benefit.

Prescription drug coverage (pharmacy RX benefits) are included with your enrollment in either medical plan and are administered by Aetna.
Pre-paid Legal and Identity Theft Prevention
Pre-paid legal and identity theft prevention are voluntary benefits and are administered by both Texas Legal and LegalShield.

Retirement resources include the Texas Municipal Retirement System and the City’s deferred compensation program with Nationwide.
