The City will provide appropriate training for City employees. All training must be directed toward skill development, enrichment, and/or performance improvement.
Human Resources coordinates and sponsors City-wide training for areas of development deemed necessary for all or a large portion of City employees.

Round Rock Learning Platform
The City of Round Rock has launched a new learning management system to support City staff in their professional development. Round Rock Learning supports each department’s training needs by offering a platform to host on-demand training, live webinars, or classroom-based sign up courses. Learners and their managers can track progress and capture certificates and continuing education credits.
