Spirit Lunch a Rockin’ Success

Don't Tase Me, BroYesterday’s Spirit Lunch was a huge success. The rock band Don’t Tase Me, Bro — made up of City employees Paul Brent, Mike Heard, Eric Poteet, Terri Waggoner and Arnold Wells — performed. Smokey Mo’s BBQ provided the food. Jim Nuse, David Kautz and Cindy Demers presented the Service Awards. Mayor Nyle Maxwell and the City Council members addressed the audience.

If you had to miss it, below is a link to the special Spirit Lunch video.

  1. What a GREAT and wonderful job by this years committee with the theme, music, food and decorations. Thanks to all who volunteered.

  2. The most fun I’ve had at Spirit Lunch…. (this was my 6th). Thanks for a fun break and good food.

Love the band’s name…. Far out, man!

  3. It might have been good to have each person’s name on the screen when they announced the service pins. Randy Gordon, PARD
