Yesterday’s Spirit Lunch was a huge success. The rock band Don’t Tase Me, Bro — made up of City employees Paul Brent, Mike Heard, Eric Poteet, Terri Waggoner and Arnold Wells — performed. Smokey Mo’s BBQ provided the food. Jim Nuse, David Kautz and Cindy Demers presented the Service Awards. Mayor Nyle Maxwell and the City Council members addressed the audience.

The Spirit Lunch committee would like to thank everyone that attended this year’s event. We hope that you enjoyed it and thank you for your cooperation with the parking situation. It was a smooth process with no glitches.
