PARD employees recognized for Play for Fall event
Team receives Innovations Award for annual fundraiser

Kelly Gaydos, Selisa Woessner, J.J. Lillibridge, Dawn Moonan, Donald Marshall and Keon Miller received Innovations Awards for their role in the Play for Fall fundraising event.

Employees from the Parks and Recreation Department recently received an Innovations Award for their work on last year’s Play for Fall fundraising event.

Play For Fall was a Halloween themed night time event whose purpose was to raise funds and awareness for the Play for All Park Expansion. The park’s popularity within Round Rock and among surrounding communities has shown how important the concept is to families, and this event gave the community an opportunity to assist in being part of the fundraising efforts while creating a positive and memorable experience.

Kelly Gaydos, Selisa Woessner, J.J. Lillibridge, Dawn Moonan, Donald Marshall and Keon Miller received recognition for playing key roles in the success of the event.

“This project falls in line with the Innovations Award criteria by improving services to customers by providing an excellent place for children of all abilities to find a place to play and relax, improving the moral of the community by allowing them to be active participants in the parks expansion, and improves the community as a whole by bringing us together to achieve a common goal,” said Innovations Team President Preston Kessinger.

This year’s Play for Fall event will take place on Friday, Oct. 19 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Play for All Park, located at 151 North A.W. Grimes Blvd. To learn more and buy tickets, visit roundrocktexas.gov/playforfall.
