Celebrating employee anniversaries with the City

On Oct. 28, employees with anniversaries were honored at the Employee Recognition Dinner at the Lone Oak Barn. Rick Jones of Utilities and Environmental Services and Doug Nelson from Fire celebrated 30 years with the City.

The Customer Service Team presented the 2014 Customer Service Awareness Day at Centennial Plaza on Oct. 30. The theme was Halloween and it was a big success. The day included a costume contest.

Fire receives Innovations Award of Merit

At the 2014 Customer Service Awareness Day, the Innovations Team presented the Rock Award to the Fire Department for its Computer Aide Dispatch System. This system automatically notifies command staff of any rescue or emergency, allowing personnel to focus on the scene rather than alerting others. Flu shots in November

The City is providing flu shots for employees during the first week of November at the RockCare clinic and in the Human Resources Training Room from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3.
