The 18^th Annual City of Round Rock Health and Safety week was held September 18 to September 21, 2017.  The week began with the presentation of the Hassan Farhat Award.

The Hassan Farhat award is given annually to the Operations Department that has exhibited the best commitment to employee health and safety during the previous year.  Kudos should be given to the Utilities and Environmental Services Department as they walked away with the award for the second consecutive year.  Currently, Transportation and Utilities and Environmental Services are tied with 2 awards each.  Who will receive the award next year?
