Parks and Rec wins design award

From left: Julie Hunter, Parks Development Specialist; Aileen Dryden, Parks Development Specialist; David Buzzell, Parks Development ManagerThe City of Round Rock’s Parks Development Department was recently awarded the American Society of Landscape Architects-Texas Chapter “Merit Award” in the Design-Unrealized-Public category at the recent ASLA 2011 conference in Galveston, Texas.

 

The “Honor Award” was awarded for the department’s design plans for the Heritage Trail on Brushy Creek project.

 

Each year, ASLA identifies and recognizes outstanding examples of recent and past works by Texas landscape architects and widely publicizes their contributions to the quality of life for all citizens of Texas.
