Introducing the Round Rock Learning Platform
The City of Round Rock is launching a new learning management system to support City staff in their professional development. Round Rock Learning will support department’s training needs by offering a platform to host on-demand training, live webinar, or classroom-based sign up courses. Learners and their managers can track progress and capture certificates and continuing education credits.
Security Awareness Training
To kick off the launch of the new Round Rock Learning site, a new security awareness training course is available to all City of Round Rock employees. This course is designed to provide local government employees a basic understanding and awareness of cyber security threats. The course is mandatory for all employees to meet the requirement set by House Bill HB 3834 that all state and local government employees participate in an approved security training awareness program.
Important – The training has a deadline of June 14th 2020.

In addition to the security awareness training, there is also some great courses on Microsoft Office 365 technologies and ESRI ArcGIS Online with more content from several departments coming soon. In the future, the platform will be the home for welcoming new employees to enhance the on-boarding process.
