Employees celebrate Luther Peterson groundbreaking
New facility to house Utilities and Transportation

Employees from Utilities, Transportation, General Services and other City of Round Rock departments came together June 1 to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new facility that will house public works employees in one location.

The first phase of the Luther Peterson project is expected to be completed in June 2019 and will include a 32,000 square foot administrative building for Utilities and Transportation, a 10,500 square foot warehouse and 6,000 square foot utility shop.

Long-term plans for the facility include two more phases that will prepare the City of Round Rock to efficiently and effectively serve residents for decades to come. We can’t wait to serve the public and our internal customers in these new facilities at 910 Luther Peterson Place!
