Congratulations to the 2025 City of Round Rock Summer Interns
A celebration and offboarding luncheon for this year’s Summer Internship Program participants was recently held at the Bob Bennett building on August 1st. Seventeen summer interns will soon complete their 12-week internship learning experience in one of ten city departments that participated this year. The internship program is designed to provide on-the-job opportunities to gain real world work experience in a professional environment. In addition to their work experiences, the interns participated in two professional development workshops, were recognized on National Intern Appreciation Day last month, and learned about the inner workings of city government as part of their onboarding.
