The 13th annual March for Meals campaign, to bring publicity and awareness for Meals on Wheels programs throughout America, is coming soon. The campaign’s highlight is “Champion’s Week,” scheduled for Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20.

During that week, local leaders – such as elected officials, police and fire chiefs, and other public figures – will accompany our volunteer drivers as they deliver hot lunches to home-bound senior citizens.

If you are interested in participating as a “Champion,” you may contact your local Meals on Wheels office to register on the day that works best for you. About a 90-minute time commitment is required.

In Round Rock, deliveries are made from the Baca Senior Center, 301 W. Bagdad. Scheduled delivery dates for Champions are March 17 and March 24.
