We wanted to share information that we received from J.P. Morgan Chase, the banking institution that handles the City’s payroll direct deposits.

Employees that currently bank with a credit union or a smaller bank usually see your City of Round Rock direct deposit funds earlier than the Friday pay date.

Due to new banking rules and regulations, credit unions and smaller banks will no longer be posting direct deposit funds to accounts early.

This change will take effect immediately. You will see your funds on the Friday pay date.
