The Round Rock Police Department is inviting fellow City employees to volunteer to deliver new shoes to Round Rock students in need for Step N2 Success from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Aug. 13 at the Kalahari Saloon Room E. This is a relatively new program from the Round Rock Police Department, replacing the previously annual RRPD Back to School Celebration starting in 2022.

In 2022, nearly 200 Round Rock students received a free, new pair of shoes and socks, Kalahari water park day passes, and four Round Rock Express tickets. Last year, the students were selected from the Round Rock Operation Blue Santa recipient list.

Partner organizations and donors include Round Rock Chamber Leadership Round Rock Class 2022, Kalahari Resorts, A Plus Federal Credit Union, Round Rock Express, Shoe Carnival, Reebok, Ready to Run, Rise Title of Texas, and the Round Rock Police Foundation.
