More than 363 community volunteers and the City of Round Rock Forestry Division planted 88 trees at Round Rock West Park located at 500 Round Rock West Drive on April 30, 2011.

The trees now enhance the beauty of the park and the surrounding areas.

The Round Rock Forestry Division extends a special thank you to the Round Rock Volunteer Center and the various community groups who helped at the event including:

• Youth Opportunity to Unite
• Boy Scouts & Girls Scouts of America
• LDS Church Old Settlers Ward
• Greater Round Rock West Neighborhood Association
• Stony Point High School student groups
• Star Dancers, Cedar Ridge High School student groups
• Starbucks Coffee
• City of Round Rock employees
• Other community groups.
