Graduation ceremonies were recently held to commemorate the achievement of 16 City employees who participated in the first ever Round Rock Aspiring Leaders Program. During the five-month program, the team developed and strengthened skills, knowledge, and self-awareness in several key leadership and people management areas including coaching and feedback, performance management, motivation and engagement, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and teamwork.

City of Round Rock leaders, managers, and invited guests were on hand to celebrate with the graduating cohort. During the ceremony, City Manager Laurie Hadley addressed the importance of leadership development and congratulated the cohort on their achievement. In addition, ALP participants Adam Levy, Sylvia Bernal, Rehana Vohra, and Tre Taylor shared some of their key takeaways and benefits from participating in the program.
